In 1978, William Scott Harder, Artist and Art History Buff, began his framing career, contracting primarily hotels and office buildings. Keeping pace with the changes and a growing economy, Scott formed Scott’s Frame and Mat LLC in 1985 and opened a small Corner Gallery and Frame Shop.
In 2006 an older idea surfaced for the team. It's reminiscent of the days when you could ring your Doctor and he arrived at your home to make a house call. Much the same but with a modern spin: you can take a picture with your smartphone; send it via the internet and voila’: The Art Doctor® will arrive at your front door.
The Art Doctor® provides Fine Picture Framing, Installation, Consultation, Restoration, Repair, Pickup and Delivery for any of your ART needs; resourcing our vast network of industry professionals.
